Thick, polyethylene foam insulation keeps heat inside, while outer surfaces remain cool to the touch. Thanks to this thick insulation, even when the Camtherm cabinet is unplugged, foods are kept at safe temperatures for 4+ hours!
The Hot Only Camtherm® is your one-stop solution for bulk hot food holding. Gentle, non-radiant heat protect carefully prepared meals in the kitchen and off-site up to 180°F. The Camtherm provides the option to dial down its temperature to 80°F for proofing.
The Camtherm is equipped with unbreakable molded-in handles and heavy duty swivel casters for easy maneuvering and braking. Our superior insulation safely holds prepared foods for 4+ hours without electricity, offering temperature maintainence when faced with limited access to electrical outlets. In an independent laboratory test, the Camtherm was tested against a same-capacity, leading metal cabinet for energy efficiency. The results showed that over the course of 8 hours of holding, the Camtherm cabinet used 48% less electricity than the metal cabinet.
